NORTH SEA JAZZ
Submission for the annual poster contest for the
North Sea Jazz Festival 2011 in Rotterdam, curated by
my school back then, Willem de Kooning Academy.
The original jazz music in the Western world wasn't appreciated that much, because of the slave and sex association stuck to it. I like the fact that it eventually wás accepted and that nowadays there are so many different kinds of jazz music for and made by all sorts of people.
I wanted to honour the (cynical) "beginning' of it.
For the curious watchers: It's made with yogurt...
