20 RUGS

In the summer of 2017 (and completed in the beginning of 2018) I started a series called RUGS.
It's a series of abstract illustrations, formed by using a specific colour pattern and returning shapes,
borders and (nature) elements. 

This series is also a bridge between my illustration work and a new found interest in handicraft combined with my love for decorative home and fashion (textile) design. In the below gallery you can find a woven version of Rug no.2 (!). 

The RUGS are high quality giclée printed in a limited edition of 10 on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper. Golden and pearl details are then painted on the print again, to let it shine when it catches the light.
